Transportation

Location

Located in Northern Fairfield County CT, Bethel is bordered on the east by Newtown, on the west by Danbury, on the north by Brookfield and on the south by Redding. It is midway between the major metropolitan areas of New York City and Hartford, with easy access to highway, rail, bus and airport services. The town is traversed by State Highways 53, 58, 6 and 302 and Interstate 84.
